This guide provides step-by-step instructions for performing a manual or software factory reset on Neat devices. Please ensure you follow the correct procedure based on your device type and configuration.

Manual Reset

Neat Bar / Neat Bar Pro & Neat Pad (Paired)

If you are factory resetting a paired Neat Bar (or Neat Bar Pro) and Neat Pad setup, both devices must be reset together. Resetting only one device in a paired configuration can lead to functionality issues.

Note:
If the Neat Pad is operating independently (e.g., as a Zoom Room Controller for a Neat Board or third-party device, or as a Scheduler), you only need to reset the Neat Pad.

Steps:

1. Locate the small reset button on the back of the Neat Bar/Bar Pro and Neat Pad.

2. With the device powered on, press and hold the reset button for at least 5 seconds.

3. Release the button. The reset process will begin and a purple Neat logo should appear shortly.

Neat Board / Board 50 / Board Pro

1. Locate the reset button on the back of the device.

2. With the device powered on, press and hold the button for 5+ seconds, then release.

3. The reset process will begin.

Neat Frame

1. Find the reset button on the back of the Neat Frame.

2. Press and hold for at least 5 seconds, then release.

3. Reset process will initiate.

Neat Center

1. Locate the reset button at the back.

2. Press and hold for 5+ seconds, then release.

3. Device will begin the reset process.

Software Reset

Neat Bar / Bar Pro / Neat Pad

Zoom Rooms Configuration

1. On the Neat Pad (Zoom Room Controller), tap the Settings icon (gearwheel) at the bottom-right.

2. Navigate to:
   General → System Settings → (Enter Zoom Room passcode) → System Settings (Neat) → System → Reset

3. Confirm by selecting Reset in the pop-up dialog.

Microsoft Teams Configuration

1. On the Pad, tap More (… icon), then select Settings → Device Settings.

2. Navigate to:
   System → Reset → (Enter password)

3. Confirm the Factory Reset option.

Important:
If the Neat Pad is paired with a Neat Bar/Bar Pro, resetting the Pad will also reset the paired device.
If pairing is broken, avoid software reset and use the manual method.
You can verify pairing under: System/Device Settings (Neat) on the Neat Pad.

Neat Board / Board 50 / Board Pro / Frame

Zoom Rooms Configuration

1. Tap anywhere on the screen to reveal the Settings icon (gearwheel).

2. Go to:
   General → System Settings → (Enter Zoom Room passcode) → System Settings (Neat) → System → Reset

Microsoft Teams Configuration

1. Tap More (… icon), then go to Device Settings.

2. Navigate to:
   Admin Settings → (Enter password) → Debug → Reset Device
