• To edit a Touch-Panel UCI the first step is finding the original VT project ( file.vtp ).
• Make sure to copy the project to a new folder to avoid editing the original one.
• Open the project and apply the edit.
• Once finished editing compile the project and export it to folder.
• In the folder you will now find a .vtz
• Open Crestron ToolBox.
• Make sure your computer is connected to the same network of the touch panel and be on the same subnet mask.
• Run the Device Discovery.
• Select the Touch-Panel to edit double clicking on it.
• Click on the button "Display Project".
• On the bottom of the page you will see an URL bar and a Browse button.
• Click on the Browse button and locate your .vtz file.
• Once the file is selected in the URL bar click on the Send button.
• Your touch-panel will now prompt " Loading Project " this operation can take several minutes depending by the size of the project.
• In case this is a new project for a new installation and the touch-panel needs to communicate with a different processor: once the program is loaded go back to ToolBox on the touch-panel page and click "modify IP Table"
• Insert the right IP address to communicate with the main Processor, and click "send to device"
