The following recovery procedure will reset the device to factory defaults, remove all previously applied passwords and unlock the front panel buttons.
| 4KZ Switchers |
- Remove power to the switcher
- Press and Hold the Setup button on the switcher
- Reapply power to the switcher while continuing to hold the Setup button
- Release the button when the Setup LED starts flashing (~10 seconds)

- Remove power to the switcher
- Press and Hold the Menu button on the switcher
- Reapply power to the switcher while continuing to hold the Menu button
- Release the button when the switcher's screen shows “Restoring ….” (~1-2 seconds)
